The Arizona Department of Real Estate requires new broker licensees to attend a broker management clinic prior to license activation and all designated, self-employed and delegated brokers with every two-year renewal.
Effective 1/1/2013 Broker Management Clinic hours will increase.
New real estate broker license applicants will need to complete the 9 hours of BMC to qualify for licensure on or after January 1, 2013.
Designated brokers and other associate brokers designated to review documents will be required to complete 30 credit hours for renewal from 24 credit hours, with the additional 6 credit hours being in BMC.
Designated Brokers or delegated Associate Brokers impacted by the new legislation who are within a current 24 month license period and have completed the current BMC renewal requirement prior to January 1, 2013, but do not renew their licenses until after that date, may renew their license without meeting the new BMC course requirement.
